March 2006 - The Cyprus IT Law Group has been established and is
the first and only group or society in the area of IT Law in Cyprus.
The Group primarily aims at informing and/or educating lawyers, judges
and other interested parties about issues that fall within the rapidly
developing area of IT Law. The
establishment of the Cyprus IT Law Group represents an initiative of Mrs
Christiana Markou of C.M.C. Jurisprudentes and is supported by the Cyprus
Computer Society.
June 2006 - Christiana Markou of C.M.C. Jurisprudentes is elected chairwoman
of the Cyprus IT Law Group.
